Then what??

I'm about to go on a six mile run. not a huge deal, but a big one.
In fourteen days I (with my running gals) will have completed our half marathon.
YEAH!
Its been so much fun to push myself and to keep up with the running schedule and to have some awesome chat times with two fantastic gals. But as I sit here I'm thinking, when the half is done...then what??

What do you do to keep yourself going..in the exercise department or just having a goal to work towards?  I'm really wanting to do a sprint triathalon but think that will wait till next summer.

I would LOVE to hear any and all suggestions.
 Thanks!

recent happenings

Here are a few other pictures from recently, not a lot has been happening in the Cunningham house. Trent's been having some stuff happen at work so we haven't been able to do any of the camping trips liked we had planned, but we've still been having fun around here. going to parks, riding bikes, swimming, goofing around and such things like that. I'm still keeping up with this half marathon training, it's been a lot of fun (not so much the running part), but running with two great people that have become very dear friends. This last Saturday we ran 12 miles and I can honestly say that at least half of the run we were laughing at the differnt life stories we were sharing, and screaming everytime we either got run over by a mad cyclist or a kamakazy bunny would fly out in front of us. I learned something as well this past run, at mile 9ish, I decided I really wanted to push myself the last three miles and I did a lot but when I got to the end and I didn't have "my girls" with me I decided those last three miles were the longest, most boring miles ever!!  I won't be doing that again, I like having "my girls" to run with. thanks again ladies for keeping me going!!  looking forward for the next three weeks till our run (I'm thinking of trying out biking after our run is done, I'm looking for some partners??)

Jordan seriously climbs anything to get whatever she wants..and she has to be the one to do it.
Audrey husked all the corn by herself for a bbq (I actually think this was from the 4th of July)
 Some 4th cookies
 best buds

 inventive piano playing

a little catch up

I've had a lot of pictures on my phone that I keep forgetting to put on the computer...until now :)  so here are a few from when we came back from fathers day weekend and not only stopped, but actually "hiked" up to Horse Monument park

looking up from part way up
from the top, the horses are a lot differnt than I thought they would be

the best of the couple pictures I tried to take of all of us.
 don't the horses look weird??
fun little hike up and a good stretch from driving.

4th of July

What a FABULOUS day!  It started out with a 4 mile run at 6am with my running buddies, can I just say how nice it was to have Trent home on a non-weekend, without any other comitments, just pure family time. SOO NICE! we went to the county park in the morning and had a picnic and went swimming, we then headed to the spray ground (the lake was a TON more fun..we will for sure be spending many afternoons there.) came home for some R&R time..we were hoping at least two would fall asleep but Jordan did and then Audrey and Carson watched a cartoon. we had a fun BBQ complete with Smores and then walked over to our city park for a concert, dancing and then fireworks. Sorry for the crazy amount of pictures, but we had a great day and I went picture crazy. :)

all three were swimming to the dock and back. so cute!

silly girl

I think I could take pictures of her all day long, whatever she does is cute ;)
she kept stomping on Carson and Audrey's castle..I laughed, they didn't.

proof I swam.

4th of july isn't complete without a hot dog!

This is how our kids do picture taking....is it seriously to much to ask to have one okay picture with three kids?

POP ITS, Audrey finally took her fingers out of her ears and actually had fun.
on the way to the park

Trying to get all five in one picture and smiling...you'd think it wouldn't be that difficult.

we were out dancing, the band was actually pretty good. better than the fireworks...

Carson ran through a bunch of sprinklers on our way over to the park and ended up being freezing most of the concert, good sport though :)
On the way home....
Good Night!
