When dad's gone...

Trent was out of town for a couple weeks and this is what we did so I could stay sane...

you have to experience an ice cream headache at some point in life

Trip to the silverdale mall for some fun

pretending they were in a roller coster

my kids to a T

Victoria

Trent and I were able to get away for a weekend two weeks ago to Victoria, B.C. here are a few pictures of our
fabulous time together.
(Thanks mom and dad for taking the kids! )

some of the beautiful artwork in Seattle...a naked man reaching out to a naked little boy....and someones beautiful woodworking job, yes it isn't just someones garbage thrown in the bushes...someone hand made that.

On our way on the Victoria Clipper

the COOLEST street performer, a violin playing Darth Vader- this was taken for Carson's benefit.

Who can resist a castle!

Night view from our hotel

Trent has a random hobby of pointing out any glacier rock, which means anytime he sees rock that has at one time in history had a glacier on it he gets excited and has to point it out. did you know there is glacier rock EVERYWHERE :)

Trek

It's been over a week since I went out with our stake on "Trek".
(and I still have a rash on my legs to prove I was there.)
We had a great time (108 degrees and all) and I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
I will say this though, the only time I ever remember being that emotionally and spiritually exhausted was after having my children.

helping on the womens pull (I'm on the right :) )

Proff I did help and not just take pictures

Tuesday night sunset- AMAZING!

cooling off on Tuesday, yes there is water in the canoe.

apparently my dress was funny (I used a bunch of scrap material and yes it was all attached-may not have been cute, but it was really comfortable!!
