Tried....and Failed!

We attempted last week to put Jordan in her toddler bed since lately she's been climbing into her crib and almost climbing out of it.
It failed, BAD. But because of that she learned that if she tries to climb out, we take her bed away. since the tried switch she hasn't tried coming in or out once.
We'll keep her in her crib as long as possible.

Halloween House

*I promise, I wasn't board, just concentrating really hard.*

* no mom, I didn't eat any of the black fondant*

new dress

For Audrey's birthday..in August, we went to Joannes and I let her help Trent and I pick out some fabric and a dress pattern. With the move the dress got put on the back shelf until Friday afternoon.
She was able to wear it for the kids Primary program on Sunday
(Carson wanted his picture taken too.)
It's a little big, but that just means it will get used that much more...right?!

Hot Buns

Sunday afternoon as the kids were running around, Jordan decided she was done with clothes...then she got a little cold.

Apparently there is a lot of warmth in the rear.

good intentions

Trent really did have good intentions on Sunday night..

I was sick...

Jordan might be catching the cold as well...

it was cold, really cold..like 37...

it was dark,

and raining..sideways...

and he wanted to go for a walk. we bundled everyone up (I very reluctantly agreed). and We walked out of the door, about 50 feet out of our driveway when the kids all started crying. We turned around (I very happily agreed), and went home.
the pictures are all as the kids were walking inside.

We won't be doing that again anytime soon.

first at Four

Here she is at Four years and a few months old and I took her to get her first haircut...trim rather. She thought it was pretty fun and was really excited to get a tattoo at the end.

* the stylist might have had a little to much fun with her...talking with her and doing her hair.*

Ode to Dad

Thanks Dad for being a good sport.

Carver Farms with Grandpa and Grandma

We headed out with Grandpa and Grandma to go pick some pumpkins at Carver Farms. While we were sitting on the tractor I asked my dad when the last time he went to a pumpkin patch was. he said Never.
Glad I could be there with you dad.
* once again, the pictures are all in reverse order.*

of all pumpkins Jordan could pick...she choose a green one, and carried it everywhere.

It's that time of year again...

Trent LIVES for Halloween. (Truth be told he loves ALL holidays, but really loves Halloween for some reason) since we've be married, every year we plan a big Halloween dinner and our guests come in costume and we go crazy decorating the house. We haven't quite figured out if we are going to do the dinner or not this year...but we did put up a few of our decorations.
*this is also fulfilling the request for living room and kitchen pictures*
