Time to Go

One year ago today we left Gig Harbor.

(moving out...and moving in)
We got the official word on Tuesday, we are headed back to the other side of Washington. Trent starts up on the 19th, so i've already started packing up the house. yesterday was all my books and the laundry room, today the kids rooms..and I"m thinking tomorrow will be bathrooms and maybe attempt my room.  Only the essentials will be in the house for the next two weeks-ish the rest will be in boxes in the garage waiting to be put in a van.
I have to be honest that it was REALLY hard to make the move to Liberty Lake and the days leading to the move Trent would catch me sobbing at any hour of the day (I have a 'waterproof' mascara stain on my pillowcase to prove it). I looked at the move (orginially two years) as a mission of sorts. you go, you learn, you come back glad for the experiance.
And then I started making friends. dang them!
I feel like I just started in a groove of sorts and now we leave.
I am so excited to be going back toward family, my parents, brother and his family, grandmas, aunts and uncles and cousins. but I will forever have a soft spot for all the people that have become my family over this last year.
Our door will  ALWAYS be open to anyone, at anytime!  (and I really hope a few who read this will take me seriously!!) We live close to Seattle, right on the water and can take you boating (how about that for a bribe).
*oh and I'm keeping my promise that I will be back in April to have a double baby shower for Jenny and Ashley. Bonnie and I have it all planned out :)
sSo to my friends in Liberty Lake, don't say goodbye...say I'll see ya later  ;)

  1. OK, now I'm getting all emotional. Thanks a lot. :) I'm so bummed, Sarah. It's been so great having you here and becoming close friends with you. Really. We are going to miss you guys so much. Paige will be so sad. But I'm happy for you at the same time. I hope the move goes as smoothly as possible.

  3. WHAT!? Moving back?! I'm bummed that you have to leave new friends... But in all my selfishness I can't help but be excited for myself! I can't wait to see you guys! It's been too long! :)

  4. I would totally have to agree with Chelsey. I am really excited that you are moving back. But I am also sad that you are leaving all your new friends in Liberty Lake. But really I am just super excited. :o)
